‘Dandelion’ is a relief print carved from linoleum and handprinted on lightweight Reeves BFK paper. The image size is approximately 4.5x4.5” printed on 8”x8” off-white paper. Each print has the edition number, title and my signature written beneath the artwork. The combination of pale pink and navy, give a feeling of the sun setting on the old and rising for the new.

Thoughts on Dandelions: A dandelion is small flowering plant that can thrive in harsh conditions. This flower returns in early spring can represent rebirth, new life and growth. It can symbolize abundant strength and power after a long winter.

As these prints are handmade and handprinted, each print will vary. Handprinted work can never be as consistent as a digital printer, but these ‘inconsistencies’ reveal the charm and beauty of handmade artwork.
