Lauren Charesse Cummings
grew up in Schoolcraft, MI, earned her B.F.A. at Grand Valley State University, and after living in South Korea and exploring South East Asia for three years, she finds herself settled back in Southwest Michigan. Keeping a pocket sketchbook always on hand has been essential to rekindling her creative spirit. A cycling enthusiast, a lover of anything that brings her outside and a printmaker, Lauren predominantly uses etching and relief techniques in her work and finds inspiration in the shapes, movement and energy she encounters in her travels and everyday life.
